From November 26th to 28th, 2023, at the ITS Asia-Pacific 2023 conference held in Bangkok, Thailand for three days, graduate students from our university achieved outstanding results. ITS has been hosting conferences for about 40 years and publishes the SSCI journal Telecommunication Policy.

This conference operated sessions under the theme "Reimagining the Future of the Digital Society," covering topics such as digital sustainability, digital space, digital transformation, media industries, and the digital economy. ITS awards the Best Student Paper Awards to students who submit full papers, and graduate students from our university, including Go Chae-eun, Park Jaeyoung, Jang Chaeyoon, Ha Seungyeon, and Han Seungmin, were honored as the recipients.

Park Jaeyoung's paper, "What would make users perceive digital platforms as indispensable to their lives?," conceptualizes the indispensability of digital platforms in users' lives today and identifies the factors influencing it.

Jang Chaeyoon's paper, "Factors influencing the trade balance in intellectual property of Korean media industry," investigates the factors driving the growth of Korean content-based intellectual property (IP) as a new driver of trade growth.

Ha Seungyeon's paper, "Barriers to Playing Digital Games: Why Do Some People Choose Not to Play Digital Games?," identifies the barriers that non-players perceive at various points based on the Innovation Resistance Theory and the Leisure Activity Impairment Model.
