The School of Media & Communication held the award ceremony for the 5th M-Tree (Media Tree) Scholarship on November 30, 2023, at 5:00 PM in Cinema Trap, Room 412, Media Building. Faculty members and students from the School of Media & Communication attended the ceremony to congratulate the scholarship recipients.
The M-Tree Scholarship, established in 2021 through the generous donation of Professor Hong Ki-seon, aims to recognize and support students in the field of media who demonstrate passion and potential for the future. This year's scholarship recipients include Choi Rin, Kim Hyun-jin, Lee Gaeun, Kim Kangmin, Jung Chan-woong, and Yoo Seung-min, totaling six students.
The ceremony commenced with a welcome address and progress report by Dean Min Young. Following speeches by Professor Ma Dong-hoon and 4th cycle scholarship recipient student Jo Hwi-hyun, the presentation of scholarship certificates took place. The 5th cycle scholarship recipients expressed their sincere gratitude, and they plan to engage in activities such as creating card news and newsletters to inform their peers and members of the School of Media & Communication about the M-Tree Scholarship.
